Focus on Burgundy

It’s been more of a struggle than usual to get all the wines physically delivered to us for this sale, but (almost) everything is here now, so time to show off a few things.

Today, a focus on Burgundy. This sale gives you the chance to own a range of wines from Burgundian royalty in sensible and, we hope, accessible quantities.

From Fourrier, we have everything from the basic Gevrey Chambertin up to Clos St Jacques (lot 402) via Goulots, Combe Aux Moines, Cherbaudes, Morey St Denis and Vougeot.

From Dujac, we run from the Domaine Morey St Denis up to their top 1er Cru Vosne Romanee from several vintages.

From Rene Engel, we have three pristine cases from some of the best vintages in recent memory.

Then, upping the ante even more, there is an abundance of Rousseau wines from the ‘entry level’ 2005 Gevrey Chambertin to the ‘premier league, Chambertin (lot 353) and Clos de Beze Grands Cru (lot 354).

Finally, top of the heap, we have a single bottle of the legendary 1990 Domaine de La Romanee Conti (lot 397). Two careful owners: bought from the agent then sold to the current owner. Now available for you to buy.
