‘That Friday Feeling’ is something that’s perhaps been missing for most of us over the last few weeks so, today, here’s a piece of history to cheer you up. A red from one of the greatest vineyards on the planet and one of the best vintages of the 20th Century:
Ladies and gentlemen, Fine Wine Friday today goes to Chambertin. This is a Negociant bottling hence it is much more affordable than if it were a Domaine wine. Part of a large cellar in East Sussex, this is in super condition with colour and fill level all pointing towards a wine that should be simply outstanding. Of course, at this age there can be no guarantees, but if this is good, it will be astronomically good.
